This is the course of the hunting team/circuit, University, School or other suitable association. who wants to learn the basics of tanning techniques and the noble art of preparation. The great thing is that you can gather a group of my 8 and I will come to you.
Local not a must but makes it easier in the winter.

Day 1: Introduction to tanning and basic principles of tanning a skin
Presentation
Introduction to Tanning: History, Uses, and Significance.
The build-up of the skin.
Different Types of Tanning Processes: Vegetable, Fat, Mineral, Synthetic & Urine Tanning:
Benefits, process and principles.
Treatment and scraping of skin/skin.
Preparation of tanning solution
Mixture of fat tanning solution. — Fat tanning of a suitable skin,
Massage, hang and let mature
Day 2: Measuring cutting and sewing in skins
History and tradition of leather sewing
How do I measure on skins? templates for gloves, cap, boots, vest, or other types of leather/leather material
Cut and sew their own sewing storage kit or maybe mobile phone holder or whatever time and imagination allows.
Day 3: The Tanning Process and Finishing
Finishing: Softening and other finishing methods. -- Care and maintenance: Advice on how to care for tanned material and extend its life.
Summary, evaluation and conclusion.
Of course, it is great to bring your own animal skins.

Who is Mikael Åkerman?
You could say the product of an unbroken lineage going back millions of years.
